Mental Health Resources in Our Community
We’ve been asking our members to share the small businesses, services, non-profits, or educational opportunities in Spokane that are important to them. This week, we are highlighting two mental health practitioners in our community: Katrina Knizek and Krystina Field.
Katrina is the founder of Your Vibrant Growth, a Sex Therapy and Counseling practice, as well as being a yoga and Pilates instructor and Pelvic Floor Specialist. Katrina offers Individual Counseling, Sex Therapy, Men’s Counseling, and Couples Counseling. She specializes in self-esteem and sexuality and her modalities reflect her commitment to continuing education and the deep belief that you can build a full, vibrant life that truly honors and reflects who you are. You can learn more about her practice here: Your Vibrant Growth.
Krystina is the owner of Radiant Sol Holistic Therapy and Counseling and grounds her practice in trauma-informed care and a person-centered, attachment-based, humanistic perspective. What does this mean? It means that Krystina believes in using a holistic approach, considering the mental, spiritual, social, and physical factors informing a clients’ experiences. In turn, she utilizes an eclectic mix of modalities to best serve each client’s needs.
If you’ve had the fun of taking class with or from either of these fantastic humans, you know that they are warm, funny, thoughtful, and truly care about the work of helping people. Finding mental health support can be overwhelming, and sometimes a recommendation is a great place to start—whether for yourself, or someone you love. Both Katrina and Krystina offer a free initial consultation—because finding the right care provider makes all the difference in the world.
If you are looking for additional support, please check out IMPACT (formerly S.O.N.G)--Interagency Movement for Patient Access, Care & Trust. IMPACT is one of the non-profits Harmony has supported this year. They maintain a free, comprehensive resource guide that is accessible to anyone seeking support. This searchable database allows users to refine their search by service, primary concerns, cost, insurance, location, and more. This organization is run by a passionate group of individuals who know that supporting mental health in our communities is life-saving work, and that we are stronger together.
As small business owners, Isaac and I know that community support is the most valuable resource for entrepreneurs, non-profits, and other small enterprises that are the life of Spokane. More importantly, we believe that highlighting the work and talents of those in our community is a vital part of sustaining hope, strengthening bonds, and reminding each other that the world is filled with people who also believe that Mr. Rogers set a pretty great example for how to build a better, kinder world. Most importantly, during this season and the seasons that follow please remember: We are so glad you are here.
